Because of recent unavailability of the time conversion utilities at https://astroutils.astronomy.osu.edu/time/ I went looking for alternatives.
By chance, I came across an announcement that, on 18th November 2022, the General Conference on Weights and Measures (CGPM) had resolved to eliminate the leap second by or before 1935. The issue has been discussed for more than 20 years. It is a momentous decision for those working in the area of time standards.
