Can forum posts not be ordered by posting date in each subject? When one clicks on 'n new posts' one should see those new posts. At the moment you have to wade through all the posts to discover (if you ever do) where those new posts are!
In fact I would say that posting date should be the default sort method. At the moment there is not even an option to do this.
I feel that the forum needs a re-write for many reasons including this. As another example, why would a reply need its own title?? I can give more if there's any interest in feedback.
